What is close rate?
Close rate is the share of inquiries that become paying customers.
It is a key number for services, real estate and B2B. It decides how much an inquiry may cost.
Many businesses don't know it. Counting inquiries and closed deals for a few months is enough to start.
Formula
Close rate = deals / leads x 100
Example
40 inquiries, 10 closed jobs. Close rate is 25 %.
